Now that I've seen the second installment of Ascension, I wonder if there were 70 extremely intelligent scientists on the ship, why wouldn't they have figured out the ship wasn't moving? I mean, someone would have studied the star charts. They couldn't possibly get every system charted. Right? Just a few holes.
