Usually, I just grab whatever tickles my fancy and write a small blurb. But not tonight. I saw this on TV this morning and I'm shocked! I can't believe it's this bad in California. Stratford is sinking. A foot per year. Other places dropped 80 feet in 3 years. Farms are going under. Watch the video.

This is just terrifying. How close are we to having parts of California unlivable? I mean we can create desalinization plants to bring water to them, but if the ground is sinking... Uh, so NOT good.
